SEO and AI search for independent medical clinics

Your Next Patient Is Searching Right Now. Let's Make Sure They Find You.

Most patients tap one of the three clinics on the map and never scroll. We get independent clinics onto that map, onto page one, and into the AI answer, and then we count the appointments that follow, so you always know what the work is doing for you.

Who we have done this for

The same people have run search for companies a good deal bigger than a clinic

That work pays for the tooling and the habits. Your clinic gets both, without the enterprise invoice.

LifeMD

Publicly traded telehealth. We did the technical SEO.

FindLaw

Thomson Reuters. Michael worked inside their search team.

Credit Sesame

Fintech. Top-five organic for its category term.

iovation

Fraud-prevention SaaS. Multi-year organic growth.

Salem Web Network

One of the largest publishers we have worked with.

WorkSimpli

Consumer SaaS, technical and organic search.

Most patients never scroll past the three clinics on the map.

That is the whole game for an independent clinic: the map, the page under it, and now the AI answer above both.

What your patients are typing

Patients Are Already Searching. The Only Question Is Who They Find.

These are real monthly searches in real cities, next to what one Google Ads click on them costs. Three clinics show up on the map for each one, and most of the calls go to those three.

Your free report pulls the same figures for your city and the care you offer, so you can see the demand before you spend a dollar.

“med spa San Diego” San Diego, CA 1,900 $5.71
“primary care doctor Portland” Portland, OR 880 $6.63

An Urgent Care and a Weight Loss Clinic Are Not Running the Same Marketing

A patient looking for urgent care is in a parking lot deciding on distance and hours. A patient researching GLP-1 care reads for weeks and compares you with national telehealth. One program covers both, but the pages, the profile, and the review cadence are built for each.

AI search is a specialty here

When a Patient Asks the AI Who to See, We Make Sure It Says Your Name

More patients now ask Google's AI Overview or ChatGPT a full question, and the answer names two or three clinics. Getting named takes the kind of page an AI can quote: a plain first sentence, a named physician, real pricing where you publish it, and the schema underneath.

It is built into the program, not sold on the side, and we count the visits it sends.

We Have Already Done the Homework on Your Market

We are a remote team and we work with clinics anywhere in the country. In these markets we already know who holds the results, what patients search, and what it takes to compete.

Not on the list? The work is the same anywhere. Only the market changes, and the free report pulls yours. See every market.

Before you call

What Clinic Owners Ask Before They Call

Medical clinic SEO, short for search engine optimization, is the work of improving a clinic's website and Google Business Profile so it ranks higher when a nearby patient searches for care. A patient types something like "urgent care Seattle" or "primary care doctor Portland", and the clinic that shows up in the map, the listings, and the AI answer above them gets the appointment. That is what we build for you.

More patients now ask Google's AI Overview or ChatGPT a full question and take the two or three clinics it names. Getting named takes the kind of page an AI can quote: a plain first sentence, a named physician, real pricing where you publish it, and the schema underneath. It is built into the program. The clinic behind our figures went from about 5 visits a month from ChatGPT to 30, with 45 visits from AI assistants in August 2026 alone.

Google Business Profile work usually moves in four to eight weeks. Pages for conditions and treatments take three to six months to move and nine to twelve to mature. Asymmetric Health, the clinic behind our figures, was top-ranked for its priority searches 2 months after its rebuilt site went live. Plan on the longer ranges, and be pleasantly surprised.

It depends on three things: what you treat, how many locations you run, and how contested your market is. Ranking one clinic in Camas, WA is a different job from ranking a practice across King County, so we do not publish a rate card. The free SEO report is how we scope it, and you get a written quote before anything starts. One monthly fee then covers the whole program; the website build and Google Ads spend are the only separate lines.

Independent and small-group practices: primary care and family medicine, Direct Primary Care, urgent care and walk-in clinics, weight loss and hormone clinics, and outpatient specialty practices. We do not work with hospital systems. They are usually the ones our clients are up against, and we like it that way.

No. We never work inside your clinical systems; your EHR stays yours. Many of the Direct Primary Care clinics we work with run on Hint, and we connect the site to it so signup and evaluation purchases land there. Our forms capture a name and a way to reach someone, and every inquiry is counted by date and source.

We do not claim a certification we have not earned, and you should be careful with agencies that lead with badges. What we can show you is a 5.0 rating on our own Google listing, search work going back to 1999, a software engineer with a computer science degree writing the code, and a clinic case study where every number has its source printed next to it.

No. We are a remote team and we work with clinics nationwide. We are based in Washington, so Seattle and Portland are markets we know first-hand, but the research we do for a clinic in San Diego or Atlanta is the same work: live searches, the local systems, the state rules, and real volumes for that metro.
